DOUGLAS WARGO MEMORIAL PARK / DOG PARK

ATTENTION:

Dear Dog Park Goers,

Palmerton Borough has been following the news regarding the recent outbreak of illness in our canine companions.

It does appear this disease has been reported in Pennsylvania.

We ask that you exercise caution when visiting the dog park. If your dog is under the weather, please keep them home.

Please help keep our four-legged friends happy and healthy.

The Borough has been informed that the rules of the dog park are not being followed.

Poop bags are provided as a courtesy, but there is no guarantee they will be stocked.

Please come prepared with your own poop bags and ensure to clean up after your dog.

If the issue is not resolved, we will be pursuing enforcement with possible penalties.
